NEW PATIENT REGISTRATION

The practice accepts patients living in the practice area. Proof of address is required.

The practice does not discriminate on grounds of race, gender, social class, religion, sexual orientation, appearance, disability or medical condition.

Patients are registered with 'Inverkeithing Medical Group' and have the choice to see any of the GP's in the Practice.

The registration process requires completion of forms GPR and NP1 and Online Patient Access/Text Messaging (if you want this service).

If you do not have access to the internet, these forms are available from reception.

Please complete these forms fully and return to fife.img@nhs.scot or hand into reception.

Temporary Registration

If you are ill while away from home or if you are not registered with a doctor but need to see one you can receive emergency treatment from the local GP practice.

You can be registered as a temporary patient for up to three months. This will allow you to be on the local practice list and still remain a patient of your permanent GP. After three months, you may have the choice to register as a permanent patient if you are still living in the practice area.

To register as a temporary patient simply contact the local practice. The Practices does not have to accept you as a temporary patient although we have an obligation to offer emergency treatment. You cannot register as a temporary patient at a practice in the town or area where you are already registered.
