Chair Person - Andrea Hynes-Whalley
Andrea is currently working as a clinical technologist for NHS Lothian. She has just completed further study in Anatomical Sciences at Edinburgh University. Andrea is also a member of the P3 committee at the Royal College of GPs Scotland. In her spare time she is a Scout Leader for the 48th group in Dalgety Bay. Andrea also helps Ovarian Cancer Action to raise awareness of symptoms thought interviews and blogs on their website.
Vice Chair Person - Colin Hay
Retired, Formerly director of programmes for the Scottish Bible Society specialising in direct mail, fundraising, database design, website development, DTP and book printing. Colin is also the Chairman of the local folk music club. He is also very actively involved in the development of Inverkeithing Medical Group practice website.
Treasurer - Mac McCaskill
Aberdonian by birth and Fifer by adoption, since moving to Dalgety Bay in 1987. Mac has recently retired from his day job of investigating and settling personal injury and disease claims. In his leisure time he is involved with running the local bowling club and singing in 2 local choirs.
Secretary - Secretarial work related to the PPG is shared between Group members and the Practice.
Committee Members
Helen Doig:- Helen was a primary school teacher who later worked in the Community Development area of education and although retired, She still volunteers in the community development. Helen is a rotarian, editor of the community council newsletter and volunteer with Macmillan and Inverkeithing Foodbank.
Elizabeth McKenzie:- Elizabeth is a retired primary school teacher and volunteer at day centre. She is also a member of ladies Probus and NOTEables community choir. Elizabeth writes the PPG column for the Dalgety Bay diary.
Lawson Rennie:- Lawson has lived in Dalgety Bay for 35 years. He has retired from working in the Haematology Department at Queen Margaret Hospital and Victoria Hospital. He still maintains his NHS links by sitting on a couple of NHS Fife committees. He spends his spare time working for 2 charities, is a member of Probus and is on the committee of the local folk music club.
Andy Thompson (Practice Manager) :- Andy has been the Practice Manager at IMG since November 2023. He is is responsible for all aspects of practice management.
