Repeat Prescriptions

The Practice has a computerised prescription system which allows you to receive medication without having to see a doctor every time you need a repeat prescription. The doctor will decide how often you should be seen for a medication review and we will contact you to arrange this.

You can request your repeat prescription in the following ways:

Online

Repeat prescriptions can be ordered online via the link at the top of this page. If you are registered for Patient Access you will automatically have access to online repeat prescription ordering system.

Email

Emailed requests will require the following information:

  • Full name
  • Date of birth
  • Telephone number
  • Name of medication (as stated on your repeat prescription slip)
  • Name of Chemist (if a pharmacist collects your processed prescription)

NOTE:  These email boxes are for ordering prescriptions only.  For safety reasons, please DO NOT include clinical information or photographs via these mailboxes.

We will aim to process your prescription 3 working days after request.

Please do not telephone before this timescale to enquire if prescription is ready for collection.  This will help keep our telephone lines free to book urgent house calls and appointments.  Thank you for your co-operation.

Please note that the internet is not a secure medium. While your prescription request will be processed in strict confidence within our Practice, we cannot guarantee its security over the internet.

Prescription Re-order slip

Complete the prescription re-order slip by ticking the items required and post in the prescription box.

Prescriptions will be sent to your nominated pharmacist for you to collect your medication from.

If you have any queries regarding your prescriptions please telephone us or email the relevant prescription mailbox:
